Overview

Audacy Washington DC has an immiediate opening for a Sales Assistant to join its group of stations. The Sales Assistant provides administrative support to Sales Managers and Account Executives. This High Energy position works closely with other departments and clients while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Proficiency in MS Office products, Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Workspace and a strong attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Create sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials; creating and/or maintaining one-sheets and media kits
• Assist Account Executives with preparing proposals, order entry and order edits
• Update managers by consolidating, analyzing and forwarding daily action summaries
• Obtain local invoices for clients/agencies as needed; interacting closely with Traffic Department to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and track down missing copy and instructions
• Pull/Send spot times and post/pre logs to clients
• Pull reports (sales history, churn reports, etc.)
• Follow up on tickets requested.
• Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers
• Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning and copying; provide back up to Traffic and provide phone coverage for station as needed.
• Assist General Manager with client parties, i.e., scheduling, coordinating using approved vendors
• Works as a team with other departments, individuals
• Attend sales meetings, training sessions and client remotes as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• General knowledge of: Google, X-Ray, Media Monitors, Tapscan
• Must have heavy graphics experience
• Knowledge of sales and media software such as Wide Orbit and VCreative preferred
• Ability to create professional, compelling sales presentation materials
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
• Resourceful, proactive and highly dependable multi-tasker with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize and adapt efficiently in a fast moving environment to complete tasks without compromising quality
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment as well as communicate in a professional manner with clients
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience preferred
