Vice President, Production for Universal Television Productions, will manage and oversee pilot and series productions reporting directly to the studio's Executive Vice President. This role will partner with studio and network creative executives to ensure accurate production budgets are built. The role is in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is a temporary staff position with an end date. The assignment is anticipated to be 12 months in duration (subject to change).

Essential Responsibilities
• Plan and manage the physical production for UCP scripted pilots and series
• Oversee on-set production personnel to ensure best-in-class productions as well as drive efficiencies and economies of scale
• Manage and communicate information (materials, dates, schedules etc.) to head of the department
• Work with studio and network creative executives for production budget reviews, planning and logistics
• Effectively communicate and interfere regularly with internal teams (Business Affairs, Legal and Finance)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of television production experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively across all levels of the organization
• Strong knowledge of union requirements, budgeting and tax credits
• Technical/Computer proficiency
• Able to think clearly and quickly under pressure
• Able to multi-task, effectively manage competing priorities and follow through
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Able to work well in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment

Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
